How most link building packages work
A typical package reads like a menu. Five links on DR30+ sites for one price, ten links on DR50+ sites for a higher one. Some packages add content writing or a report. Others are monthly bundles that renew with a set number of placements.
The appeal is clear: you know the price before you start. The catch is that the price is tied to a count of links on sites the vendor can reach quickly. To hit a fixed count on time, vendors often lean on sites that sell placements to anyone, and those links carry more risk under Google's link spam policy.
Three ways to buy link building, compared
Prices are common market ranges and public list prices at the time of writing. Vendors change plans often, so check before you buy.
| Per-link package | Monthly link package | BacklinksBot subscription | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price basis | Each link, often a few hundred dollars | Set count per month | Flat monthly fee |
| Typical cost | About $200 to $850+ per link | Often a few thousand dollars a month | $199, $499 or $1,499 a month, or $99, $249, $749 billed yearly |
| Where links come from | Vendor inventory | Vendor inventory and outreach | Fresh outreach to pages that fit your site |
| Paid placements | Built into the price | Often built in | Only if you approve, paid by you to the publisher, with rel="sponsored" |
| What you see | Final URLs | Monthly report | Every prospect, email, reply and live link |
| Link checks after delivery | Rare | Sometimes | Weekly on Starter, daily on Growth and Agency |
One analysis, no signup. The first five targets with DR, strategy and why they fit.
Find my link gapsThe BacklinksBot plans as packages
If you think in packages, here is how our plans map. Limits count usage in the billing period, and deleting a contact or a campaign never gives usage back.

|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $199 | $99 a month ($1,188 a year) | 1 site, 1 active campaign, 3 competitors per analysis, 300 new outreach contacts a month, 10 analyses a month, weekly monitoring, 1 seat |
| Growth | $499 | $249 a month ($2,988 a year) | 3 sites, 5 active campaigns, 5 competitors, 1,200 contacts a month, goal mode, all strategies, autopilot, cost per link, daily monitoring, CSV export, 3 seats |
| Agency | $1,499 | $749 a month ($8,988 a year) | 15 sites, 25 active campaigns, 10 competitors, 5,000 contacts a month, white label reports, 10 seats with roles, API and signed webhooks, audit log, priority support |
Why we do not sell links by the piece
A package that promises a count of links puts the vendor in a bind. If outreach is slow that month, the easy fix is to buy placements. A subscription for the work removes that pressure, which is the main difference between the types of link building companies. The bot aims for earned links first, and you decide case by case whether a publisher fee is worth it.
This also keeps the cost honest. The board on Growth and Agency shows cost per link, which is your plan fee plus any fees you approved, divided by links that went live. You can compare it with any package quote line by line.
Hidden costs in link building packages
The listed price of a package is rarely the full cost. Before you compare any quote with a subscription, check for these extras.
- Content fees. Some packages charge extra for the article that carries the link.
- DR tiers. The headline price often covers low DR sites only, with steep jumps for higher tiers.
- Replacement terms. Ask what happens when a link disappears after a month. Many packages replace links only for a short window.
- Risk cost. Links from networks that sell to anyone can be ignored by Google or hurt your site, and cleaning them up takes time.
- Your own time. Briefing, reviewing and chasing reports still takes hours each month.
How to choose the right plan
Not sure yet? Run the link gap demo on your domain first. It shows how many pages link to your competitors but not to you, so you can judge how much outreach your site needs. Full plan details are on the pricing page.
- Starter fits a founder or a small team with one site who wants resource pages, listicles, broken links, unlinked mentions and lost link recovery running every month.
- Growth fits a SaaS or ecommerce SEO team with a monthly link target. Goal mode plans the volume and the strategy mix, and autopilot takes approvals off your plate once you trust the drafts.
- Agency fits agencies and multi-brand companies running link building for many sites, with white label link building reports and roles for the team.
What every plan includes
- Competitor link gap analysis and target scoring with the BacklinksBot DR scale.
- Personalized outreach emails from your own mailbox with up to two follow-ups.
- The pipeline board from Prospects to Links live.

- One-click opt-out in every email, a global suppression list and your sender details for CAN-SPAM.
- Cancel anytime, with access to the end of the paid period. One subscription per workspace, and upgrades charge the difference right away.
Questions people ask
How much do link building packages cost?
Per-link packages often cost a few hundred dollars per link, more on high authority sites. BacklinksBot plans cost $199, $499 or $1,499 a month, and $99, $249 or $749 a month when billed yearly.
How many links do I get with each plan?
We do not sell a link count, because no honest service can promise links from sites it does not own. Each plan sets how many new outreach contacts the bot can reach each month, and the board shows how many links go live.
Are cheap link building packages safe?
Very cheap packages often rely on link networks or sites that sell links to anyone. Google treats links bought to pass ranking credit as link spam, so those packages can harm your site.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrades take effect right away and charge the difference immediately. You can also cancel anytime and keep access to the end of the paid period.
Do publisher fees come on top of the plan?
Only if you approve one. Many links are earned with no fee. If a publisher asks for money, you pay them directly, within your campaign budget cap, and the link gets rel="sponsored".
